How to upload and add a video to the timeline

There are 2 easy ways to upload videos to your timeline.

  1. Upload a video directly from the timeline.

  2. Upload a video from My Media (in the left panel)

Step 2: Drag and drop the video or click to upload files from your system. You can also choose videos from our Stock Media library by clicking the link at the bottom.

Step 3: Once your footage is uploaded, click to add it to your timeline.

Step 2: Once the upload is complete, you can click on the video thumbnail to add it to the timeline.

Q) Is there a limit to the number of videos that I can add to the timeline?

A. No. There is no limit to the number of videos you want to upload on the timeline. However, there are a few limitations with regard to the size and the duration of the clips that you upload:

  • The file size of the video clip should not exceed 1GB

  • The duration of the video should not exceed 60 min.

Q) Can I add a video as an overlay on another video?

A. We currently do not have the option to add video as an overlay. However, we do support image overlays. You can learn more about image overlay here.

Q) Whenever I add a video clip, it gets placed at the end of the timeline. How can I reposition clips along the timeline?

A. All media clips uploaded to the timeline are placed at the end by default. Here's how you can rearrange video clips along the timeline -

  • Reduce the Zoom UI feature to view all video clips in the entire timeline

  • Select the clip you want to reposition and drag it across the timeline to where you'd like it to appear.
