How to upload an image for adding to media timeline

There are 2 easy ways to upload images to your timeline.

  1. Upload images directly from the timeline.

  2. Upload images from My Media (in the left panel)

Upload images directly from the timeline


Step 1: Click the ‘+’ on the timeline.


Step 2: Drag and drop the images or click to upload files from your system. You can also choose photos from our Stock Media library by clicking the link at the bottom.


Step 3: Once your footage is uploaded, click to add it to your timeline.



Upload images from My Media (in the left panel)


Step 1: Go to ‘My Media’ in the left panel and click Upload.


Step 2: Choose the image files you want to upload.


Step 3: Once your footage is uploaded, click the Add drop-down and choose one of the options from the drop-down.

You’ll have options in the drop-down to:

  1. Add to Last - Add the image as the last clip on your timeline.

  2. Create Overlay - add the image as an overlay on your video.

  3. Insert Before - add the image before the selected clip.

  4. Replace Current - replace the current clip.






Note: We support JPEG and PNG formats for adding images.
