The steps to change your password depends on the way you signed up to Typito. There are primarily two ways to sign up:
- Using Email Address and Password
- Using your Facebook or Google account
A) If you’ve signed up to Typito using your Email address and a password, please follow these steps to change your password
Step 1 - From your homepage dashboard, click on the User icon on the top right and click on the ‘Settings’ button to get to ‘Your Account’ section:
Step 2 - Once you are in the “Your Account” section, you will see the “Password” field listed inside the “Profile” tab. Click on the “Password” placeholder.
Step 3 - You will see two password fields. Enter the new password in ‘New Password’ field and enter it again under the “Confirm New Password” field.
Step 4 - After you’ve entered the new password in both the fields, click on the “Update” button.
Step 5 - Once you click ‘Update’, you’ll be asked to enter the current password in a pop-up box. After entering it, Click “Confirm” to update your password.
B) If you’ve signed up to Typito using your Facebook or Google account then follow the steps below:
Step 1- Logout of Typito and go to your login page. Click on “Forgot password ?”.
Step 2 - Enter your email address linked to your Google or Facebook account. click on “Reset password” to get an email in your inbox with a link to reset your password.
Step 3 - Go to your email inbox and look for an email with the subject line ‘It happens to everyone 🙊’.
Step 4 - Open the email and click on “RESET PASSWORD”.
Step 5 - After you click on “RESET PASSWORD” you’ll be redirected to the Typito page. Enter your new password with which you will login to your Typito account.
Once the password is updated, you can now login to your Typito account
