Once you select a clip on the timeline, you will find the following media clip editing capabilities that show up:

Let's look at each of them in detail:

  1. By clicking on the left and right handles of the clip, you can trim the clip down or increase the duration when it comes to images. 
  2. By clicking the frame icon, you can crop or reposition your video clip so that it remains perfectly framed on a square, vertical or widescreen video.
  3. The scissors icon lets you split the clip into two (only in the case of videos).
  4. And the bin icon lets you delete the clip.

You can rearrange or swap media clips on the timeline by clicking on them and changing positions. Here's how you can do it.

Please note that all of these steps can be undone by pressing Cmd and Z keys or clicking on the "Undo" button at the top left.
